Who We Are
Bright Vision Community Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRIVCOISUD) is a Non-Governmental organization acting in the best interest of harmony between communities in the domains of health, governance, education, community development, youth empowerment, shelter and livelihood, rural economic empowerment food items and non-food Items aid, legal assistance and protection. In line with the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, members of BRIVCOISUD are without any distinction of race, sex, colour, religion and possess inalienable, equal and secret rights. All members shall have equal rights and obligations guided by the founder in accordance with the laws of Cameroon.
With headquarters in Wabane (Lebialem Division) in the South West Region of Cameroon, BRIVCOISUD serves underprivileged communities, especially women and children, in the areas of sustainable development recycling economy, for the protection of the environment. Teaching people to use the materials they have and re-using them in order not to destroy the environment. Living well now but not preventing future generations from equally living well. Human Rights & Good Governance, Health & HIV/AIDS, Economic Empowerment, ICT and Charities for Orphans & Widows, within the national territory of Cameroon.
Our Vision
To promote a self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating organisation that is committed to help mankind especially the vulnerable in domains of health, education, environment, community development, youth empowerment and gender based violence.
Our Mission
BRIVCOISUD’s mission is to help the vulnerable in the domain of health, education, environment, community development, youth empowerment and gender based violence through social and economic empowerment programmes.
Our Purpose
The purposes of BRIVCOISUD are in two folds:
– To assist vulnerable persons; and
– To empower communities.
Our Strategic Operational Objectives
- Improve the state of the natural environment and provide solutions for climate change;
- Encourage the observance of human rights, improving the welfare of the disadvantaged;
- Revamping youth inclusion and training to increase efficiency in youth participation in leadership;
- Promote and defend the Rights and Freedoms of the disadvantaged at the grassroots, with focus on the rights of women, children and youths;
- Empower disadvantaged communities and persons with skills, knowledge and resources for sustainable self-reliance and leadership;
- Strengthen and expand Organisational Programming, Monitoring and Evaluation in areas where there is increasing vulnerability;
- Improve the quality, availability and accessibility of care and support services offered to support groups;
- Mobilise and facilitate the formation of a well coordinated Network of Grassroots Based Organizations (Grassroots Implementing Partners), as a channel for making interventions in very difficult-to-reach communities with masses of neglected disadvantaged people.;
- Build and strengthen the Structural and Institutional capacity of BRIVCOISUD, Support Groups of People Living with HIV/AIDS, and other target grassroot based implementing partners, for effective service delivery. This will involve developing and/or improving vital areas among which are: Governance and Management, strategic planning, Policy development, information management, networking, advocacy, resource mobilisation and management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
